What does Edmund find when he gets to the White Witch's house? He thinks he sees Aslan, but he is wrong. What is he actually seeing? How would you describe Edmund's personality traits? Paragraph #2--
When the 3 children flee with the Beavers, they hear a noise and think the White Witch has found them. Who is it really? What happens when they meet him? What changes are happening in Narnia now that the White Witch's spell has been broken?

Chapter 8--"What Happened after Dinner"

In chapter eight, the Pevinses have dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver. They learn about Aslan, the White Witch, and the prophecy of four Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve ruling at Cair Paravel. At one point in the dinner, they notice that Edmund is gone, and his brother and sisters are worried and want to start looking for him.

But Mr. Beaver says, "There's no point in going to look for him." Why does Mr. Beaver say that? Do you agree or disagree? Why/why not? What would you have done if you were Edmund's brother/sister? Why?
