What is Edmund up to on his visit to Narnia? His experience there is very different from Lucy's experience there. Who does he meet in Narnia that impacts his experience there? Do you think that, if you had been Edmund, you would have acted the same way if you met her (you know who I mean!) in Narnia? Why or why not?
What is turkish delight? (hint: check it out on Wikipedia; it's good stuff!) After finding out what it is, decide if you'd like to try some (maybe your teacher will buy you some so you can try it! ;-) Turkish delight, anyone!?! . . .
He wanted to see for himself if Narnia was real or not, if it wasn't he was going to start teasing her and he meets the white witch there.
ReplyDeleteTurkish Delight is a candy in turkey;it has sugar and different types of flavors. Yes I would like you to get some for our class!!(=
Edmund is having a rough time because The White Witch is telling him different things and so is Lucy. He does not know who to believe, but i say his experience there is pretty good because he got Turkish Delight and a hot, foamy drink. He enjoyed going there because he was told if he brought the brother and sisters she would trun him into a Prince.
ReplyDeleteHe wants to go to wardrobe because he wants to prove Lucy wrong, and he wants to make fun of Lucy. Meets the White Which, and he thinks she is the Queen of Narnia. When he eats the Turkish delight he finishes the Turkish delight. After he finishes the Turkish delight, he wanted more. The Which knew he wanted more because that was enchanted candy. She told him if he brought the others, she would give him all the Turkish delight, and make him King. He believed her, so he promised he would bring the other ones. If i would have met her, and i knew who she was i would not talked to her. I would have ran to the wardrobe to get away from her. Turkish delight is a candy that is wrapped in sugar. I think it has a nut in the middle. It is made in a country which its name is Turkey.
ReplyDeleteEdmund wants to tease Lucy's about her imaginary world(Narnia). Edmund finds the White Witch, but not the Faun that Lucy met. If I been Edmund i wouldn't been acting like him.
ReplyDeleteTurkish Delight is a cubed candy that has many flavors; strawberry and coconut. The Turkish Delight has sugar on it. I would like to try Turkish Delight. :)
Turkish Delight is a candy that is jelly inside and sugar sprinkled on top. I preferr the ones without nuts; everyone has different opinions! They are made out of starch, and sugar. It is sprinkled with flour, icing sugar, and copra. I WANT SOME TURKISH DELIGHT, PLEASE! :)
ReplyDeleteEdmund goes to the wardrobe thinking he would make fun of Lucy again, but then he goes further into the wardrobe and realizes that Narnia is real. Edmund is up to no good in Narnia; when he meets the white witch he starts saying stuff. Edmund meets the white witch which impacts his experience there because, he tells her that he has 2 other sisters and 1 other brother that are the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. If I were Edmund I wouldn't have acted that way because; she is a stranger and I wouldn't have known her. It also impacts because now the white witch know that there are 4 humans to take the throne in Narnia, so if they do she will not be ruler of Narnia anymore.
ReplyDeleteTURKISH DELIGHT!!!!! =D YUM
i would totally like to try some Turkish delight
because it looks so good and tasty. Maybe Turkish delight goes with some milk and maybe even some cookies! YUM ! miss nivinskus would you like to buy us some turkish delight ya ya i know you do!
Edmund goes to Narnia because he is looking for Lucy, and he gets lost so he just keeps going forward. Edmund saw the white witch she is not a good person; he don't know that. Although he could of also given her all the information because she said that she was the queen of Narnia. If a lady that I don't know asked me questions that should not be told I wouldn't tell her my information. I wouldn't tell her because if you tell some one all of your information like how old are you or something they could do bad things to you so it is good if you have it as a secret for people you don't know.
ReplyDeleteIn Narnia Edmund is up to; teasing Lucy that there is no Narnia. I would act like Edmund because the white witch could have killed him and or turn him into a prisoner. Turkish delight is a snack coverd with lemon and sugar, and is found in turkey.
ReplyDeleteTurkish Delight looks really good but people may not like it i think it is like a type of bread that I would like to taste. Also some of them have a little bit of jelly to. There are many flavors; I just wonder how they get the jelly inside?
ReplyDeleteEdmund goes in the closet to tease Lucy about her make believe world but then finds out that it is real and he feels very bad for Lucy because no one believed her. On his way he meets the Queen of Narina, also known as the White Witch. If I was Edmund I would never act the way he did because I love my brother and sisters and I wouldn't want to get them into danger, plus, meetng a strager and getting in with them is like the number rule to stay away from.
ReplyDeleteTurkish delight is a a round bread that is filled with yelly. If I had a chance to try some, I would definely take it!:)
When Edmund goes to the wardrobe and enters Narnia he thinks that he will be able to tease his sister Lucy of her make-believe place,But when he enters Narnia he was amazed that Lucy's make-believe place is real and she wasn't joking around and that was true. The first person he meets is the horrifying White Witch. She was telling Edmund that she wants to meet Edmund's sisters and brother, and when he comes back with his brother and sisters he will become prince of Narnia, but she told him to not forget to bring his brother and sisters, and if he comes with them he can eat all the Turkish Delight he wanted

When Edmund goes to Narnia he is up to proving to Lucy that shes lying about going through the wardrobe and landing in Narnia so that he could make fun of her. When Edmund goes to Narnia he meets the white witch who gives him Turkish Delight and he loves it and he starts to like the white witch. If I was Edmund and I went to Narnia I wouldn't act like Edmund did when she met the white witch because she is really mean and she tricks people, and then kidnaps them.Turkish Delight is a kind of that has jelly and sugar and its really good. And yes I would like to try it again.
ReplyDeleteEdmund tells the witch that he has more brothers and sister; she wants him to bring them to Narnia. when he sees Lucy she asked him if he went to look for Mr Tummus. Turkish delight is made out of a lot of different flavors like orange, strawberry, chocolate.
ReplyDeleteEdmund is up to teasing Lucy for her imaginary world "Narnia". After Edmund sees Lucy get up at night, he goes and follows her to tease her. Edmund discover that Lucy's imaginary world is really. Edmund's experience was different than Lucy's because he met the white witch and didn't know that she called her self "Queen". I don't think I would acted the same as Edmund;but not be mean to Lucy. I would act like Edmund because she did say that she is the queen so I would of course stay there.
ReplyDeleteWhen he goes to Narnia to go to look for Lucy he was like stuttered cause the white witch was like scaring him, and then he wanted to listen to the witch. In my opinion, i would have not gone to the white witch if Lucy had told me not to. Turkish delight is some like sugar cubes; it has walnuts pistachios coconut and more. i would also like that Ms.Nivinskus makes some Turkish delight
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Lucy wants to go in the wardrobe because Edmund said it was an imaginary world, but no one believed her. Edmund's experience Is different from Lucy because Lucy knows that the queen is really the white witch, but Edmund doesn't know, So he gets in the sled, and gets captured by the white witch and gets some Turkish delight. Edmund meets the white witch in Narnia; thinks its the queen of Narnia, but it's not the queen.
ReplyDeleteTurkish Delight is a candy that was originally made in the city of Turkey one name they call it is lokum. the word lokum comes from the Arabic. It was sold in the U.S in the mid 1900s. they also name it rah which comes from the Romans, and from the Greeks
