Would you trust a faun you met in the woods?... (The L, W & W--chapter 2)

Let's think about our newest character, Mr. Tumnus.

What kind of character is he? Why does he start crying during his visit with Lucy? Why do you think he changed his mind and told Lucy what he was doing? Do you think he is a positive or negative character? Why? Does this character change or stay static (the same)? Why do you think so?

  4. He is a good character and he cries because he said that it was a honor to meet a daughter of eve. He changed at the end of the chapter because he helped Lucy escape from the white witch. He helped her so that the trees that spied for the white witch wouldn't see her.

  5. I think he not a bad faun because he kept he out of danger from the White Witch even though his beard and get cut off,his horns cut off,and his hooves. He tells her the truth of how that was all a trap and he starts crying and says if his father was not still in stone because of the White Witch he would of been disappointed of him.

  6. Mr. Tumnus is a really nice character. He may have been lying to Lucy in the beginning; he was going to give her to the white witch. He told her the whole truth and he even risked his life for her. He let her go.
